"The location of the hotel is excellent. The waiters are friendly and efficient. The room is very clean. For someone like me who is mysophobic, it is difficult to have a satisfactory experience. I will stay there next time."
"The Merrion is a Hallmark of service and sheer quality. We arrived to be greeted by a friendly concierge and the news that our room had been upgraded to a junior suite.
Lunch in the Cellar bar was an absolute joy and friendly, well clued in staff made the experience more special.
The room was fabulous, with every comfort you could imagine. The bed was so comfortable, as were the couches.I cannot speak too highly about the service at this wonderful hotel.
"
"This really is an absolute gem of a hotel. We were given such a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel is spotless and beautifully decorated. Our room was a standard room but the furnishings and complementary goods gave it a luxury feel. The bed was super comfortable with soft linens and huge fluffy pillows. The hotel had thought of everything including umbrellas to borrow for the typical Irish weather. We were able to easily walk into the heart of Temple Bar. The breakfast served was unbelievably delicious and lots of it! All freshly cooked from a vast menu. This is a family run hotel and the personal flare really shows. Can’t wait to return!"

"Good location if you're looking to stay near the airport, but I honestly wish we had spent another night in the small Mourneview B&B near Carlingford and made the drive into DUB. This hotel is huge and packed with people. The receptionist was kind, but the line up is long and once you finally find parking, you're fed up waiting. There is air conditioning in the lobby, but not in the hotel rooms. Felt like an oven as soon as you walk to the elevator and the night was long as the room was warm, so we opened the windows and then we had the noise of the busy motorway outside. The room was okay, but then we found gum stuck under the table. The breakfast was the best part, the buffet has many options to choose from."
"The Green Hotel exceeded all my expectations. It was centrally located, beautiful, clean, comfortable and the staff could not be more helpful or nice. This was my first trip to Dublin and Jessica at the front desk was wonderful in providing help and assistance. The room was spacious and everything was in proper working order. The breakfast was unbelievable and so delicious. The perfect meal to start the bay exploring Dublin by foot. I highly recommend this hotel."
"We booked the Wilder last minute. The location is central but also not right in the middle so it was nice to chill away from the hustle and bustle of town yet it was easy to walk to. The staff were very easy to deal with and the cleaners and room staff were lovely and really helpful as were the bar staff. The complimentary gin and tonic, and the turn down room service in the evening were a lovely touch. The two next door rooms decided to have a party at about 1145 which went for half an hour so i called reception and they quickly contacted the rooms, and I was able to get to sleep. The ONLY thing i would say is we upgraded our room but our shower was tiny, im 6ft 2 so thought it was me but even my wife who is 5'5 found it hard to move in the thing. Apart from that I would recommend it to anyone as a perfect place for couple of business trips."
"The location is right in the heart of the city, good for people who like clubbing. Heard that Temple bar area could be problematic at late night, but it was never a problem as we returned by 10pm. Many shops and good eateries within 5 min walk. The sightseeing spots are mostly readily accessible on foot.
Hotel staff were friendly and polite. Rooms are clean and towels looks new white. Walls are thick enough for sound proof, even not aware of one flushing in toilet in early morning. Our room faced the internal opening i.e. no view but not noisy. The only shortcoming is no fridge. Highly recommended."
"A brilliant hotel perfectly located within Dublin. Next to trinity college, this hotel is a stones throw from all the tourist hotspots but equally the location is lovely and quiet, especially at night.
The hotel has been recently renovated to a high standard. The beds are super comfy and the rooms are well equipped. The service by the staff was top notch and the exclusive parking around the corner on a private, gated carpark for €15 per night was an added bonus. The breakfast was really tasty, a great selection of cooked and cold food to choose from and the coffee was also equally as good.
Will be using this hotel as my go to the next time I find myself in Dublin."
"No one reply my in-app message so I have to call. And it’s weird that the receptionist is not clear about my Gold membership benefits such as late checkout and free breakfast but what I find the most disrespectful is that the receptionist has to ask the duty manager for my requests yet the manager was just chatting with other staff and she never smile at me whenever I pass by and look at her. I’d love to stay again but the reception should be trained properly again."
"we had a night away from kids and decided to stay here as it was good price Really nice Inn..very modern and clean, location is spot on..our room was very compact, but clean..downside is the NOISE! Once I seen wooden floors I knew it'd be noisy..cleaners were hoovering the room above us very early, must have been 7am and it was like they were in our room! Then they knocked on our room at 8:30 for room service.(forgot to leave thingy in door).no chance of a lie in,you could hear them going room to room then😔"

GGuest UserI think this will be a nice stay once their remodel is done, but wait until then.
When booked initially, the reservation was for the Hard Rock Hotel. About a week and a half before I arrived, NYX acquired the building. We received no notification about this from either business. The hotel was slightly outdated and undergoing the beginnings of redecoration. The staff seemed to either be hired by NYX and unfamiliar with the hotel or previous employees who were unfamiliar with the new management’s policies. For example, the manual chain lock on my door had been disabled in both of our rooms and the staff at the desk didn’t seem to understand how it had happened. They did move me to a room with a working manual lock immediately, but didn’t seem to understand why I felt the need for one as a single woman in the room and assured me that the staff would respect my privacy. The person in the other room in our booking also had his disabled but didn’t want to bother moving. The next day, housekeeping barged into his room without waiting for an answer to her knock. The person inside was just finishing dressing.
Other than that, it’s just little things that haven’t yet been worked out in the management change. For example their card scanners in the rooms and elevators seem to be new and still finicky, and the person at reception hadn’t read the laundry policy on the NYX laundry slips in the rooms. The slips specified it would be back by 6pm if picked up by 8am, but she said it might be the next day. She also had me bring the laundry down to the reception desk when the slip said it would be picked up. The staff was actually really great and when I pointed it out I did get same day laundry; it seemed like a new management miscommunication.
Overall, I’d recommend staying here after they’ve had a chance to settle and remodel. They were already starting to take down the Hard Rock decorations and I suspect they will also redo the older and brightly colored carpets and walls. Since we didn’t receive any notifications about the new management and redecorating, I’m not sure there will be one about that either.

TT___HI recently had the pleasure of staying at Clontarf Castle Hotel, and I must commend the outstanding service provided by the staff, particularly Marlienna. When we encountered issues with our initial room, Marlienna went above and beyond to rectify the situation and ensure that we had a memorable and comfortable stay.
Marlienna's professionalism and dedication were evident as she took the time to show us alternative rooms and discuss our options for a more suitable accommodation. Her proactive approach and genuine concern for our satisfaction truly made a difference in our experience at the hotel.
Thanks to Marlienna's efforts, we were able to find a room that exceeded our expectations and allowed us to fully enjoy our stay. Her exceptional customer service and commitment to guest satisfaction are a testament to the high standards upheld by Clontarf Castle Hotel.
I cannot thank Marlienna and the rest of the team enough for their hospitality and for going above and beyond to ensure that we had the best possible experience. I would highly recommend Clontarf Castle Hotel to anyone seeking exceptional service and a memorable stay. We look forward to returning in the future.
GGuest UserWe arrived around 5.30pm and stayed only one night. The welcome drink was a nice touch but however in the morning there was lots of banging next door to our room. My husband was up all night with a cold so we hadn’t slept much. When we walked out of our room at 9.30 am to have breakfast the cleaners were sitting in armchairs with their vacuums and cleaning g products. It felt like they were waiting for us to go. When we returned to our room to pack up ( check out is 12) there was a knock at our door at 11.30 by cleaners. It felt like a lot of pressure for us to get out and no privacy as they were siting outside.
The staff at breakfast hovered and were on top of us and asked us to order straight away before we even read the menu. The wait for the food was long and my eggs were cold when they came out.
There is no lift to our floor so passing the cleaners sitting in armchairs we also passed cleaners sitting on the stairs. The whole experience felt unwelcoming and not private.
The hotel it self is well located and beautiful interiors but wouldn’t stay there again. We have stayed at a lot of boutique and 5 star hotels all over the world and this was just average.

GGuest UserStayed at the Bonnington Hotel and was greeted well but I was expecting a fridge in my room as the advert clearly states that a fridge would be available but I didn’t get one and after requesting several times I still didn’t get one.
The parking attendant is also very rude and seems to be on the look out to cause issues for visitors. The parking was very busy and spaces are limited, be prepared to walk around the side of the hotel. BE WARNED OF THIS GUY!!
TTeacherTravelTimesI decided to ditch staying in the city centre based on my below par experiences there on my last trip. When looking on Trip.com, Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Dalkey was the same price as several dorm rooms in the city centre when I looked.
Getting there from Dublin Airport was relatively straightforward. I took and Aircoach from the airport to Dalkey/Ulverton Road and then walked for about 15 minutes. Up to the hotel entrance.
The hotel is fairly old fashioned but personally I found it very charming. The staff were well-trained in the art of hospitality, the rooms were clean, locals were in and out of the bar, restaurant and leisure centre.
Furthermore, the room was spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. The tv had a nice range of channels and the bathroom had a working shower and an abundance of towels. One thing missing was a toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving kit. I was told that you can get slippers on request as well.
Get the breakfast. It’s €16 and it’s a buffet style with a delicious selection of hot and cold food. There’s rashers, sausages, hash browns, pancakes, the works. I wish I could’ve eaten more! I loved that they had a wide range of ages working there as well. One of the staff tripped when she went to ask if everything was ok and she said ‘I’m fine, I’m falling for you!’ It was then that I knew that I was home.
The leisure centre is one of the best I’ve come across in a while. I’ve stayed in so many places where it’s literally an empty room with a few bits of old equipment but they had loads of weights, treadmills, bikes, etc. They do classes and physiotherapy as well. The pool and jacuzzi were also excellent. Plenty of ages in both as well but it wasnt overcrowded so you’ll get a few lengths in if you want.
Lastly, make sure to go for a walk about Dalkey and the surrounding areas. I spent the morning walking down to the Vico Baths, the Forty Foot (both swimming locations) and passed through Dalkey Village. Plenty of people will be out with their family and friends whether it be for a walk, bike ride, swim or a coffee and a chat. Ditch Dublin City and say yes to Dalkey!
KKent SuconGreat Location. Room is a bit small and can also be cleaner. Hotel staff is able to locate the shirts that I forgot in the room however, hotel staff is not able to send the shirts back to me even as I was willing to pay. I had to arrange my own courier service to pick them up. Surprised that Hilton cannot provide this service.

GGayatri GallowayKnowing The Address from Dubai, I knew I could expect quality. Located on a main road across Connolly station, the train noises were only noticeable on the outside.
As we arrived very early we accepted the first available room after an hours wait in the beer garden. We don’t normally accept twin rooms but as I was unwell we took it. A clean, classy, modern room, in comparison to which the bathroom with a bath looked a bit outdated. But the room had our fave rooibos tea!
The hotel has ample F&B choices: a bar, cafe, restaurant and a ‘beer garden’ - a cute one too with useful heaters on the wall.
Service in these areas however lack protocol, which we always seek in hospitality.
The gym situated at the end of the premises is a public one, which means there’s non-hotel resident traffic through the corridors.
It took us a moment to realise and a confirmation from the concierge that the hotel also houses ‘temporary residents’ evident from my fellow smokers in the beer garden and the children in their school uniforms having their breakfasts in one of the bar areas.
We didn’t expect this from The Address chain. It reflects the reality Ireland is coping with.

Ttravel_wander_discoverHostel is cozy and clean. Location is good and beds are comfortable. Staff is very friendly and polite. They let me to leave my luggage there even though I arrived early in the morning. Unfortunately, there was an older person with some health and breathing conditions that didn’t let anyone sleep in our dorm room. He could even barely walk up the stairs to the third floor not to mention climbing onto the upper bunk. I think that this kind of situation should be reconsidered with care and solution for everyone.

Pphilj0528I really loved the location of the Hotel. The managers were really kind and joyful and that made my day! Just to what I planned, it was middle of all the spots that I wanted to visit so if you are planning to visit Dublin, this hotel would be a choice for you.

XXuanliFirst time staying in a double bed. The location of the hotel is very good and it is very clean. I think for a cheapest youth hostel here with a price of more than 300 yuan for two people, the expectations were not high, so it met the expectations. The boss is also very nice and stored a lot of luggage for free in advance.
The facilities and convenience are indeed average. The bed is clean, but the bedding is made of a soft synthetic fiber material that is not very breathable, and charging is not very convenient.
